Connections
A connection is OrchaSync's stored, secure link to one of your platforms. You create it once — providing that platform's credentials — and every workflow then uses it through a Connection node without the secrets ever living inside a workflow.
How it works
- You add a connection for a platform and authorize it (an API token, OAuth, or a small helper plugin, depending on the platform).
- OrchaSync stores the credentials encrypted.
- Your workflows reference the connection by name to read from or write to that platform.
:::note Security Credentials are encrypted at rest and are never exposed inside a workflow definition or its saved versions. :::
Supported platforms
| Platform | How you connect | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| WooCommerce | OrchaSync WordPress plugin | WooCommerce |
| NetSuite | OrchaSync RESTlet (SuiteScript) + token | NetSuite |
| Shopify | OrchaSync Shopify app | Shopify |
More platforms (Salesforce, Slack, HTTP/REST, PostgreSQL, MySQL) are on the roadmap.
info
The WordPress plugin, NetSuite RESTlet, and Shopify app are the small pieces that make connecting each platform a few clicks instead of a developer project. Their step-by-step install guides are being written — the per-platform pages describe what's coming.
